Recently I had a privilege to be involved in a workshop on GenAI co-led by McKinsey.
I’ve noticed a systemic shift in thinking over the last two years.
A year ago, corporate discussions revolved around copilots and use-case experiments. Today, it’s about comprehensive GenAI governance.
It’s no longer about “how do we automate repetitive support requests”, but about reimagining the entire support department around GenAI.
In essence this means that the technology is becoming foundational for many functions across the org.
This makes me wonder: is it all hype, or is there substance beyond specific use-cases? Given the constraints, legacy and limited data, can the benefits of AI integration truly outweigh its costs?
I’ve looked into open case studies of well-known corporations to get to the bottom of this.
